Well this play has been SO fun. You are never bored and are constintally energized throughout the whole show! This year I'm Harriet Partrage and I have three other sisters.

Oh yeah! Back in June Miranda and I went to
EFY for our FIRST time!!! Oh my gosh. WOW!
That was the best experience I've had since... hmm... ever!! (I think). anyway. Almost every moment we were there was spiritual. I know that sounds really boring, right? WRONG!!! You have fun the WHOLE entire time you are there. There are firesides and classes everyday you are there, AND they are FUN!!! Also there are not one but TWO dances!!! They are very fun and you don't even have to dance to enjoy it. Personally that wasn't MY favorite thing that happened there, but who knows? On to Camp.
Girls Camp. Lets see. I enjoyed it a ton!!! We had certification every day which was fun. We made waterproof matches and then tested them to see if water would affect it. We also learned how to put out accidental fires when my friend accidentily lit a foam cup on fire while testing the matches. It was something I won't forget! We also were taught CPR on a dummy with a WHOLE LOT of different boy names. One name for each girl. It was a BLAST!!!!!Later we went swimming! Many of the leaders afterward french braided our hair. Everywhere you went, you saw french braids, french braids, and, french braids. We also made REALLY cute crafts. First there was shrink-a-dinks and necklaces. Also we made picture-frames. which all were adorable. anyway. We had a little misshap on Thursday, the main waterpipe broke and there was no water available for bathroom or shower or other things. We left the camp half an hour after the anouncment was made to pack up and go which was a miracle. Only a minute after we left the camp, a thunderstorm began and it rained pretty hard. That night was extatic. We spent the night over at the bishops home. We had a fireside and then dessert. Late that night, everyone went crazy and were laughing the WHOLE night. Unfortunatly, I fell asleep before all of that started. They should've woken me up. Oh well. The next morning we had pancakes and went home. Overall it was a great experience!
Youth Conference Rocks!!!!Wow!!! We arrived at the church at 6 pm to register and at 6:30 we began our devotional by Brother Norton. He's an AMAZING story teller. He told the story of David and Goliath and how he killed the "Giant", also when he asked a man for food for tending his flocks and the man said 'no' David gathered 400 soldiers to go fight and get revenge. When the man's wife heard what her husband did, she gathered a whole bunch of food and brought it to the approching army. She told David to blame her for her husband's actions and they forgave her and her husband and left with their dinner. David realized that not only did the wife save her husband, she had saved him, David, by not letting him take revenge which was the wrong thing to do. After the devotional, I had my FIRST DANCE in Ohio from 6:40 to 10:30! First I thought it was going to be way too long, but then I changed my mind and realised it was too short, for me at least. So, I was a little shy and cautious for the first half of the, non-slow dances, but then I got into it alot. I'm scared to see what I looked like to everyone else because me and my best friend Becky Harmon were dancing all around the gym. Anyway, for the first slow dance Adam came up to me (: and asked me to dance. He also spun me. I was really nervous. Then later, all the girls had to put there shoes in the middle of the gym and the boys had to come and pick one shoe and I ended up with someone named James who was nice but, strange. (I think) Then another slow dance somewhere in the middle, it was girls' choice, and Miranda convinced me to go ask Adam even though I felt a little akward. Then for the last dance of the night Adam came up to me and asked me to dance. It was soo nice. He's awesome! At least that's what I think. Anyway, on Friday, we got to the church at 9:00am and had breakfast then left for Fairport Harbor where we were going to do a service project of cleaning up the streets for the triathlon on Sunday. When we got there it was thundering and lightning and raining really hard so everyone was huddled under the pavillion where Patriarch Anderson gave his devotional about being the small light in the midst of all the wickedness and darkness around you. After it stopped raining and the sun came out we started picking up the trash, Becky and I were partners. While we were out there, we caught a toad and named it Adam Jake Jacker. (Don't ask PLEASE) besides that we had a blast. When everyone came back we had free time and we just walked on the beach, flew kites, and laid on the grass in the REALLY HOT sun. It was fun but not exactly planned out. When we got back to the church we had an hour to get ready for dinner and then another DANCE!!!!! I danced with Adam for the first dance and the last dance and another dance in the middle, AGAIN!!! Do you think I'm crazy because all my friends say I am. Oh well. anyway he did tell me that if I did any sports this school year, that he would come watch me play. It was really nice. Maybe he'll come watch me in a choir concert. I'm just starting choir this year. Probably because he told me once that I should do choir and that it was fun, I'm just a little nervous about singing in front of people. I'm not even very good. whatever. On Saturday, we arrived at the historical sites at 8:00am fasting. We first had a slide show with pictures from the service project and then went and looked at the Book of Mormon exhibit. It is soo cool. They are paintings that depict different scenes from the BoM. You can really feel the spirit there. After that we learned about some pioneers like Zina Huntington, who lived in Ohio. When we arrived at the church later, we had lunch and then testimony meeting. Testimony meeting was really spiritual and I felt that I should've gone up there. but now I can't. To close Youth Conference we had a devotional that was about the liahona and how we can be the light and show people the way to Christ who is the real light. This was a great experience for me and I can't wait for next year's trek for Youth Conference. Anyway, this is getting really long. So, bye!
Temple trip. Well, I told you I was going to go on Saturday. BUT Thursday morning my mom got an email saying that Sarah and I were to go to the Temple Thursday because too many people signed up to go on Saturday. But, I still had a spiritual time and it was very neat to be inside the lord's house. I could feel the spirit very strong there. It took three hours to drive there and back and we talked the WHOLE time. It was a lot of fun but on the way back, the music was getting very annoying; they sang about Dinosaurs.
